Information relating to cookies
When you visit the Adintime.com website (hereinafter referred to as "the Site") information may be recorded in "Cookies" files installed by us or by third parties on your computer, tablet or mobile phone.
For the sake of clarity, this information document on the use of cookies covers both the use of Cookies files associated with the browser software of your computer, tablet or mobile phone and the use of an advertising identifier of your mobile phone. This page enables you to understand what a cookie is, how we use it and what means you have to make choices regarding these cookies.
The Site is published by Adintime Limited.
WHAT IS A COOKIE?
The term "cookie" is a generic term that designates both a text file deposited in a dedicated space on the hard disk of your terminal (computer, tablet, mobile phone or any other device optimised for the Internet), when consulting online content or advertising, and similar technologies that make it possible to read or write information on a user's terminal and, in combination with the use of cookies, to track his or her activity on the Internet or in an application. Some cookies are essential to the use of the Site or the Application, others allow the optimisation and personalisation of the content displayed.
The Cookie file contains certain information, such as a unique identifier, the name of the Site or Application, as well as numbers and characters. This Cookie file is read by its sender. During its period of validity, it allows its issuer to recognise the terminal concerned each time this terminal accesses digital content containing Cookies from the same issuer and to remember information, such as user preferences, information previously entered by the user in forms present on the Site or in the Application. Some cookies may also be used to store the contents of a shopping cart, others to record the language settings of a site, and still others to carry out targeted advertising.
A cookie does not directly identify a user (it does not contain names or surnames), but the browser of your terminal or the Application, generally mobile, used. It does, however, make it possible to track the actions of the same user using the unique identifier contained in the Cookie file. The term "cookies" is also used generically to designate other similar technologies such as web beacons or invisible pixels, which are small digital images invisible to the user and integrated into web pages or emails, and which, combined with the deposit of cookies, make it possible to track and analyse the browsing habits of a single user.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE COOKIES USED BY THE ADINTIME.COM WEBSITE?
Several types of cookies may be stored in your terminal when you access our services during a visit to our Site:
1. Technical cookies to enable you to browse the Site, ensure the security of the Site and allow you to access the various products and services of the Site.
Technical cookies include the strictly necessary cookies that are essential for browsing our Site (such as session identifiers, the version of your operating system, the version of the Application used) that allow you to use the main features of the Site, as well as the feature cookies that allow you to access specific features, in particular to recognise you, to indicate your visit to a particular page and thus improve your browsing comfort: to adapt the presentation of the Site to the display preferences of your terminal (language used, display resolution), to memorise information relating to a form that you have completed on the Site (registration or access to the members' area). Technical cookies also enable security measures to be implemented (for example, when you are asked to log in to your account again after a certain period of time).
You may object to the use of these cookies and delete them using your browser settings, however you may not be able to access the Site.
These cookies have a very short lifespan, for strictly necessary cookies, the time of the session, and for functionality cookies the time of the session, a few hours and at most, one year.
2. Audience measurement cookies issued by us or by our technical service providers and commercial partners for the purpose of measuring the audience for the various contents and sections of our Site, in order to evaluate and better organise them.
The audience measurement cookies are issued by us, by our technical service providers or our commercial partners.
In addition to analysing the number of visitors, they make it possible, where appropriate, to detect navigation problems and consequently to improve the ergonomics of our services.
The traffic analysis services used by this Site only produce and send to our technical service providers or commercial partners aggregate statistics and traffic volumes, to the exclusion of any individual information. They do not allow us to follow your navigation on other sites.
The lifetime of these audience measurement cookies does not exceed 13 months.
We also use tools to measure the effectiveness of our emailing campaigns, allowing us to take relevant commercial action based on the information collected (for example, sending a new message or a personalised offer).
You can choose to refuse cookies for statistical analysis of your browsing data, either by configuring your browser to refuse them (see below), or by installing the "Google Analytics deactivation" extension on your browser.
3. Advertising Cookies to adapt the advertising media on the Site or on third party sites and applications to your interests and to measure their effectiveness.
The use of advertising space on our Site contributes to the financing of the content and services that we make available to you free of charge.
The use of advertising cookies enables you to view the advertising or display sponsored links that we (or our Group and our commercial partners) consider to be the most suitable for your user profile according to your areas of interest, or even your terminal, your browsing and, where applicable, your geographical position (longitude, latitude), subject to your prior consent. It also allows us to adapt the advertisements on the Adintime site and on other sites to your user profile.
The relevance of the advertising content displayed on our Site can also be achieved, thanks to the technologies of third parties and in particular of our commercial partners, by associating the navigation information of the terminals you use to connect to our Site or to other sites/Applications with the data you provided to us when you registered or accessed one of our services.
Configure your cookies. To refuse the use of advertising cookies, click on the cookies logo at the bottom right of your screen.
Refusing these advertising cookies has no impact on the use of our Site. However, refusing them will not stop advertising on our Site or on the Internet. It will only result in an advertisement being displayed that does not take into account your interests and, if applicable, that is displayed regardless of the number of times you have already seen it.
What are advertising cookies used for?
Advertising cookies may be deposited on your terminal when you consult a site or an online advertisement, when you open emails or notifications on the Site or the Application, or in any other form.
In addition, your mobile phone's advertising identifiers, subject to the preferences you have exercised in your mobile phone, may be readable and transmitted to us when you use the Application. Cookies and advertising identifiers enable Adintime and our commercial partners to display on our Site or on third party sites advertisements or sponsored links adapted to your centres of interest according to your user profile, or even, where applicable, according to information concerning your browsing on our Site, and data concerning your geographical position (longitude and latitude) transmitted by your terminal with your prior consent.
They allow us to measure your interactions with these advertisements: to count the number of advertisements displayed in our advertising spaces, to identify these advertisements, the number of times they are displayed for a particular user, the number of "clicks" on each advertisement, and, where applicable, the subsequent actions taken on the pages to which these advertisements lead.
They also make it possible to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and to carry out counts in order to calculate the sums due to the actors in the advertising distribution chain (advertising agency, advertising sales house, distribution site/medium) and to establish statistics.
Finally, they make it possible to limit the number of times you see the same advertisement on the same medium.
How is this information collected?
Advertising cookies (advertising identifiers for mobile terminals) are placed on the user's terminal using technologies ("tag") provided by our commercial partners which are inserted into the pages visited or directly inserted by the advertisers in the advertisements displayed on our Site.
This "tag" will automatically transmit to these partners information about the content of the page visited or about the advertisement placed on the page visited. This information is associated with the identifier contained in the cookies placed on your computer by the partners.
How long are these advertising cookies and the associated data stored?
The life of the advertising cookies deposited during your navigation on the Site is in principle 13 months. The associated data which is sent to commercial partners is kept by the latter for a period which in principle does not exceed 13 months.
To find out how long the cookie identifiers are associated with your user profiles by the commercial partners listed below, we invite you to consult the information on their sites.
How is your user profile determined?
Your user profile is established according to categories pre-established by our commercial partners based on the content you have consulted on the Adintime website, as well as those of our commercial partners' own partners.
Information relating to the content consulted on our Site is associated with the identifier contained in the cookies.
The use of cookies makes it possible to associate browsing data with your profile regardless of the terminal used, thanks to cookie exchange technologies implemented by our advertising partners.
Your profile is also enriched with information from your interactions with Adintime and, depending on the commercial partnerships entered into with our advertising partners, according to information communicated in the context of your interactions with third parties who have entered into a partnership agreement with our advertising partners, such as when you are connected to an online service or when you subscribe to a publication or a service. Reconciliations are also made with data collected offline and stored in our customer management tools or those of our advertising partners.
The use of advertising cookies, deposited on your terminal when you consult a site or an online advertisement, when you open emails or in notifications on the Site, or in any other form, enables us, as well as our commercial partners and/or their own partners, to adapt the direct commercial communications that are sent to you according to your interactions with the advertisements placed on our Site. For example, browsing a page on our Site that contains an advertisement for one of our services or for a particular advertiser's product, or a sponsored link from a particular advertiser displayed by our business partners, may trigger an email from us or from that advertiser related to the advertisement seen. To opt out of the use of advertising cookies, click on the cookie logo at the bottom right of your screen.
4. Sharing cookies (social networks) intended to improve the interactivity of the Site or the Application.
Our Site contains cookies with sharing links to Facebook, Twitter and other similar social networks, which allow you to share the content of our Site or Application with other people or to let these other people know your consultation or your opinion concerning the content of the Site or to connect to all of the Adintime Company's services using your identification data on these social networks.
This is, in particular, the case of the "share" and "like" buttons from the social networks "Facebook" and "twitter". The social network providing such an application button is likely to identify you thanks to this button, even if you did not use it when visiting our Site.
These cookies are deposited directly by these social networks. If you are connected to the social network while browsing our Site/Application, the sharing buttons make it possible to link the content consulted to your user account.
These cookies may also be deposited in the event that your browser displays content from social networks embedded within content on the Site or Application.
We invite you to consult the privacy protection policies of these social networks in order to learn about the purposes of use, in particular advertising, of the browsing information that they may collect through these application buttons.
The life of these cookies does not exceed 13 months.
