Video Takeover

The Video Takeover option is the ideal solution for multi-media visibility across the platform: the video ad is visible on all mobile devices, computers and tablets. This immersive experience achieves 100% share of voice with a video message that plays only when the Spotify app is active and displayed on mobile, tablet and computer devices (the desktop version comes with a JPG - 640 x 640 pixels banner). 

The video (.mov or .mp4 file) is less than 30 seconds long and can be horizontal (desktop and mobile) or vertical (mobile only).

Sponsored Session 

The other video option Spotify offers is the Sponsored Session. The audience get 30 minutes of free listening time in exchange for playing a video ad. Your ad is the only one playing in those 30 minutes, which helps focus the consumer's attention on your brand.

This feature is available exclusively on the Spotify mobile and tablet app. Your video ad (.mov or .mp4 file) is less than 30 seconds long and followed by a closure visual (640×640 pixels) with a CTA (call to action) button.
