Squid Game, one of Netflix's latest phenomenal series, has smashed the ratings with this intriguing trailer. Just like Omega, the American streaming platform giant has used music as a narrative force and captured the attention of millions of people around the world. The trailer is also the most-liked video in this year's top 10 most-watched ads on YouTube. 

Netflix explodes its engagement rate with its YouTube advert released on 2 September 2021 for a total of 49 million views and over 844,000 likes. 

Turkish Airlines: a clip with Morgan Freeman in the spotlight

Again, the relevance of using a celebrity's influence is highlighted in this ad. The airline relies on a voice-over that is recognisable to all: that of the famous American actor Morgan Freeman. A voice that leaves no one indifferent and has been making an impression for over 50 years now. The actor has appeared in more than 70 films and has been nominated dozens of times for his acting skills.

Turkish Airlines collects 40 million views and over 24,000 likes for its YouTube ad launched on 10 February 2022.

Apple (USA): Escape from the Office: Apple at Work: Apple's 8-minute spot is all about getting back to the office

At 8 minutes long, this YouTube ad is by far the longest video in this top 10. It is also the second most liked ad (after the Netflix trailer for Squid Game). It was through the making of a real short film that Apple was able to capture the attention of its viewers with a trendy topic: the Great Quit.

Apple hits hard and gets over 112,000 likes for its YouTube ad with 34 million views since March 11, 2022.

In this advert, the old streets of Seoul are highlighted to the rhythm of traditional music from the Land of the Morning Calm. This government action organised by KTO (Korea Tourism Organization) is a great way to promote the country and its culture! 

This commercial gets over 42,000 likes for a total of 30 million views on YouTube since its release on September 3, 2021. 

Chevrolet (USA): Super Bowl commercial featuring celebrities from "The Sopranos" series
